Yesterday I went to conversational club GR8! (read Great!). It organized interesting, but as has noted one of the organizers Joshgun Kerimov - our people are not very active in cheering up. Also I noticed that many of the guests were too trapped themselves and their problems. It is depressing course ...

But I still liked it, I wish them every success of course. Plus, on my way down in the elevator, I spoke to a woman from the group about the development of conversational skills, and came up with an interesting idea, which i'm going to do. I think it should help me and you, and the rest in development of their conversational skills.

P.S. Still looking for an actively developing UI \ UX designer.

Sir Ken Robinson - is the author, international speaker and advisor on development of creative thinking, education and innovation in government and public organizations. Perhaps my favorite performances at TED. Incredibly comically talks about the origins of the educational system and what challenges these same sources, engender (even in the most developed countries). The purpose of Sir Ken Robinson's speech is to explain to people that the original purpose of the educational systems, for which they were created, why they are pulling humanity down and are not suitable for people of the future (which we are).

  1. Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity?
  2. Ken Robinson: Bring on the learning revolution!
  3. Ken Robinson: How to escape education's death valley.

Watch all three performances, you will not get bored)) I personally revised his first appearance probably 10 times or more. Excellent practice of of English language by the way (subtitles are present in ANY language, but I would recommend to watch in the original).

The power of the mind (usually) == body strength, the strength of the body leads to the practice of the case, which leads to the power of the mind - Recursion! A little further strength to the mind:

Formal education will help you survive. Self-education will make you a fortune

Practice makes perfect.

We are what we do constantly. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.

Iron rusts, not finding a use, stagnant water rots, or freezing cold, and the human mind, not finding a use, wasting away.

Read it to not for, to contradicting and refuting, not in order to take on faith; and do not then to find a subject for conversation; but to think and reason.

Having reached the end of what you should know, you find yourself at the beginning of what should be felt.

By the way, I notice that this quote perfectly convergent with the "lake of knowledge within man" of Castaneda.

In us, it flourishes what we cherish. This is the eternal law of nature.

Be who we are and to become what we are capable of becoming, is the only purpose of life.

Tell me - and I will forget, show me - and maybe I'll remember, involve me - and then I comprehend.

Life in fact is darkness when there is no aspiration. Any attempts is blind when there is no knowledge. All knowledge in vain where there is no labor. Any work is fruitless when there is no love (to the point, for example.)
